• Undertaking system and method audits according to the Quality Procedures. Delegating the undertaking of audits to other staff;
• Managing and assisting with the resolution of issues relating to the Quality system; 
• Participating in the drafting and revision of quality procedures and work instructions;
• Ensuring that changes/amendments and new QWI are understood and complied with by laboratory staff;
• Undertaking or instructing staff to undertake the periodic calibration of equipment;
• Managing issues related to or involving HOKLAS;
• Beware of ISO17025 and HOKLAS requirement for laboratory competence;
• Co-ordinating responses and actions from third party audits;
• Monitoring the laboratories performance in proficiency test studies;
• Monitoring and maintaining the laboratories CAR system.

• Knowledge of ISO17025 in HOKLAS laboratory and quality system requirement is considered essential;
• Training in Quality Management would be an advantage;
• Excellent computer skill with knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point;
• Proficient English and Chinese verbal and written communication skills;
• Excellent organization skill.

• A tertiary science qualification, preferable in Chemistry
• 5 year of testing laboratory experience 
  • Environmental laboratory preferable but not a must
