Job Description

The Hong Kong Warehouse Keeper is responsible for ensuring proper receiving of product and documentation thereof.  Ensures that all orders are properly prepared for shipment as required.  Accountable for all transfers, paperwork and system functions.  Responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and housekeeping of warehouse, and periodic maintenance of warehouse and office at the Hong Kong facility.
You must be motivated, organized, professional and timely.  The hours for this position are generally 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, but will be dependent on the department and customers’ needs and ensuring that customer needs are fulfilled.Receive incoming material, process paperwork, inspection, disposition to stock/shipping

  • Notify Loomis QC of incoming shipment for immediate receipt to SAP
  • Pull stock for orders
  • Print/prepare shippers for daily orders
  • Package orders for delivery
  • Complete information required on shipping paperwork and place with the packaged order i.e. bill of lading, international invoices, shippers, security endorsements, etc.
  • Meet “On-time” delivery.
  • Bag and re-bag stock as needed.
  • Record all inventory movement on inventory cards, and logs, as necessary. (Shipments, receipts, samples, returns, transfers, reworks and MRB)
  • Complete all receiving documentation with appropriate information i.e.: date received, qty. received, scale used, sample used, sample weight and initials.
  • Complete any other documents necessary. i.e. Overage/Shortage, or rejection.
  • Ability to repetitively lift, move and process packages weighing up to 19 kg.

 JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • The hours for this position are generally 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, but will be dependent on the department and customers’ needs and ensuring that customer needs are fulfilled.
  • Be motivated, organized, professional and timely.
  • Ability to repetitively lift, move and process packages weighing up to 19 kg.
  • Clear telephone and email communication skills. Must be able to speak English clearly and be able to be understood clearly over the telephone and email. Be fluent in Cantonese.
  • Typing skills and alpha/numeric data entry skills required.
  • One (1) year minimum warehouse experience.
  • One (1) year minimum of computer experience.
  • Customer Service or Sale Administration Officer experience preferred.
