Responsibilities

• Support system development and interface projects, including B2C websites and other portals to enhance users’ experience and facilitate digital transformation.
• Liaise with end users on user requirement definition.
• Lead system analysis, design, implementation and testing.
• Coordinate with end users and vendors to ensure smooth project implementation as per project schedule.
• Prepare, update and properly file system specifications, user requirements, technical proposal and relevant system documentation.

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent disciplines.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in designing, developing, implementing & maintaining application systems running in both Client/Server and Web based environment.
• Experience in front-end web technologies (HTML/5, CSS, JavaScript frameworks); Java concepts and patterns (Java/J2EE, JSP, Sling, JMS, JUnit, Eclipse); and back end/server-side technologies (SOAP/REST, ESB, Node.js, Serverless microservices).
• Experience in CI / CD, and Git; and Adobe Experience Manager solutions preferred.
• Working knowledge of web and application tier technologies: Tomcat, Apache Http, open source packages, shell scripts and Linux skills.
• Basic understanding of web analytics tools, and key concepts on APIs and AWS cloud environment (e.g. AWS API gateway, CloudFront, Lambda, EC2).
• Analytical with strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills; able to influence others, internally and externally, for positive results.
• Highly resourceful, and efficient in organisational multi-tasking with strong project management skills.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
