Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provisioning of system design, storage/backup, and network infrastructure for small to large scale security-centric infrastructure projects
- Work closely with solution architects to define the best approach for design, security and implementation of infrastructure systems in physical and virtualized environments
- Provide technical support in the areas of infrastructure, including Cyber Security, Cloud, Networking, and Servers (Linux / Windows)
- Manage different experimentation, development, staging, production environments to provide overall system functionality, health, scalability, resiliency, and security.
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining SIEM projects with a focus on collecting, parsing, managing, and analyzing large sets of data to turn information into insights using multiple platforms
- Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, resource optimization
- Review and apply software patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities.
- Responsible for developing and implementing the hardware and software version control processes, policies, and procedures
- Deliver detailed documentation to help train employees resolve day to day issues and knowledge transfer
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Information Security / Computer Science, Information System or IT related discipline
- 3 – 5 years hands-on experience in networking environment
- In-depth knowledge of inter-networking technologies and industry best practices
- Strong understanding and good knowledge of multiple system products and solutions including server, storage, virtualization infrastructure, backup and patch management solutions etc.
- Solid working experience in supporting network security components (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortigate, CheckPoint, etc)
- Familiar with industry service management frameworks (e.g. ISO27001, ITIL, etc)
- Hands-on experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux system administration or Windows Administration
- Troubleshooting, Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- 3 – 5 years hands on experience in networking environment
