Job Description

Provide risk management services that support and facilitate the delivery of business plans, projects and initiatives of the Company.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Promote the culture of risk management, educate and train the local managers and employees in risk management principles and methodologies
  • Maintain an effective Enterprise Risk Management framework to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Manage the implementation of all aspects of the risk function, including implementation of processes, tools and systems to identify, assess, measure, manage, monitor and report risks
  • Manage the process for developing risk policies and procedures, risk limits and approval authorities
  • Implement and maintain the Internal Control Framework
  • Conduct risk assessments covering strategic, operational areas and project risks, and followed up on improvement actions with related parties
  • Participate in Risk Management and Control committee meeting, Investment
  • Management Committee, Dividend Committee and Management meetings to ensure risks are reported and actions in place to address the risks
  • Coordinate and prepare reports to comply with solvency regulatory reporting requirements
  • Ensure the Business Continuity Plan is effective and coordinate the drill test

Incumbent Requirements:

Academic & Professional Qualification

  • University degree in accounting or actuarial

Experience

  • Over 10 years’ experience in the insurance industry and in management position
  • Solid experience risk management, internal audit or control functions


Knowledge & Skill Required

  • Good understanding of the insurance business and the risk management framework
  • Good communication skills in both English and Chinese
