Major Responsibilities

• Ensure product quality and process assurance, including advance quality plan and implementation.
• Drive continuous improvement of product quality and processes
• Lead cross-function team in effective root cause analysis, using various RCA tools including DMAIC, 5Whys, etc
• Work with the senior management team, work through possible challenges with logistics, production, and crisis process management, for the highest quality of products delivery to customers.
• Responsible for product Quality from design stage to mass production. Review customer design and give suggestion regarding safety, quality and manufacturing issues
• Build, implement and maintain world-class quality system to support business growth and prevent quality and regulatory risks 
• Responsible for the strategic planning, development & training, launching & execution, monitoring and reporting of the product quality assurance, quality systems and procedures to fulfil the requirements of the Company, customers and as well as international quality standards
• Provide professional advices on quality, testing and control for improving the efficiency and effectiveness in product design and quality development
• Develop an effective in-process and out-going quality assurance program to ensure no quality escapes to the customers
• Formulate strategies, standards and procedures for Quality system and drive implementation to achieve company KPI
• Identify targets for KPI & COQ yearly and keep trace for their performance regularly.
• Develop Capex and headcount planning to cope with the business growth
• Act as the focal person to manipulate the conflicts between QA and other departments
• Ensure all outgoing 8D reports are professional written and submitted timely to the customer
• Communicate with customer and lead and/or support customer and quality system audits
• In out of control situations, to decide by quick response for resolving problems with manageable quality

Requirements

• Higher Diploma or Degree in Quality Management/ Engineering/ Manufacturing Management or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years of progressive and successful quality and manufacturing management experience
• Minimum 15 years of working experience in EMS manufacturing electronic field
• Have practical experience in applying six sigma toolkits
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred
• Hands on experience with product safety, RoHs and environmental regulations for consumer electronics & international quality standards such as CE, FCC, TUV, RoHS etc.
• Expert on QA systems, contemporary QA concepts and approaches – prefer to have ISO 9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18000, ISO13485, VDA 6.3 Process Audit, TL9000 or TS16949 certified internal auditor
• Experienced in developing, implementing and executing strategic plans to support company business growth
• Quality, logistics and crisis process management skills to ensure highest quality of consumer products is delivered to customers
• Strong mentoring and people management across each quality function unit
• A good team leader with strong interpersonal, coordination and time management skills
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills
• Good experience on product and process quality control and validation
• Good experience on Lean manufacturing and Kaizen
• Fluency in Mandarin and English as well as a good command of Cantonese
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Minitab or other statistical software package
