Our client, one of the top global hedge funds, is now keen to meet with and hire a strong IT Support Engineer to help manage and support their desktop infrastructure and end users across Asia.

Excellent opportunity for a hands-on support engineer to learn and grow.

Responsibilities:

• Provide end-user technical support for all users across the firm in HK and APAC.  Conduct troubleshooting on hardware and software.
• Respond to walk-in, telephone, email and messenger enquiries for technical support.  Take ownership to provide troubleshooting and full resolution.
• Hands-on all-rounded support covering Desktop (PC, Laptop Notebook), Mobile & handheld devices, Cisco IP Phone, Printer hardware, Desktop / Microsoft Office applications, VC / Zoom & multimedia equipment etc.
• Strong technical and troubleshooting, and escalate unresolved/complex issues where appropriate.
• Routine hardware and software maintenance for the end user space,, including migrations, upgrades, office moves and supporting infrastructure-related projects for Hong Kong and Asia.

Requirements:

• At least 4 to 5+ years experience in a Technical Support role
• Experience providing technical support for Windows 10, computer hardware (PC, laptop/notebook), mobile & handhelds, VC and/or Zoom, Microsoft Office 2016 / O365 etc.
• Server administration experience using Windows Server, Active Directory and network troubleshooting knowledge.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills in English is a must.
• Bachelor's degree in IT (or related discipline)
• Proactive, energetic, and positive attitude.  Able to provide excellent customer service
• Good problem solving and analytical skills
