Job Description

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Head of Project Management, you will be responsible to improve testing facilities and related processes for effective and efficient testing and high quality system and technology.

Key Role and Responsibilities:

Collect and understand limitations and issues of existing testing environments, facilities and processes
Analyze and define requirements and gaps for different types of testing to support the short, medium and long term needs regarding new requirements for the support of the Core Banking Project
Research on latest development of testing methodology, support tools, environment set up and management
Design and set up of testing environments and tools required for the support of all testing requirements of the Core Banking Project
Support the definition and implementation of the new testing methodologies and procedures and the testing environments and processes to build up standardized, professional, effective and efficient testing capabilities for the Project
Work closely with the project team and vendors, contribute to the establishment of high quality project plans, support all testing activities and implement the project in accordance with approved project scope, budget, targets and timelines

Job Requirements:

University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline
Minimum 7 years of experience in analysis & design, solution recommendation, project development, testing and implementation with at least 4 years in banking related environment with major involvement in testing methodologies and management
Possess solid understanding on banking related applications in terms of system development life cycle, system operation procedures, quality assurance, related technology trends, and other common technical challenges
With experience on Non-Performance Test, Operational Acceptance Test and Security Acceptance Test are highly preferred
With knowledge and hands-on experience in web automated testing is highly recommended
With hands-on experience to conduct System Test and User Acceptance Test
General understanding in data quality improvement and data management processes is preferred
Committed leader and deliverer with abilities and desire to make things happen
Positive personality with desire and passion in driving business growth through smart application of technology and adequate design of operational process
Strong communication (Cantonese and English, with Putonghua an advantage), elaboration and presentation skills
Resourceful, creative and proactive in continuous improvement and advancement
Good team player striving for team success and win-win results
Keen to learn but at the same time willing to share and develop others
