Job Description
Major Responsibilities
- Assist senior manager in the planning, implementation and operation of FinTech platform and projects including but not limited to Credit Reference Platform, Commercial Data Interchange and eTradeConnect
- Perform gap analysis to assess processes, determine requirements and deliver recommendations
- Liaise with external and internal stakeholders throughout project cycle
- Assist in review of legal and governance related platform or project documents
- Perform risk assessments and coordinate on security assessment and pre-launch audit with internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with meeting preparation, such as arranging logistics and materials
- University education preferably in information technology, finance or business related disciplines
- Over 5 years’ experience in the areas of: (i) business analysis (ii) product management, or (iii) operations of information systems or banking/financial applications
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua) is essential
- Confident, self-motivated and resilient, with good presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in product management, risk assessment and pre-launch audit is an advantage
- Candidates with less experience may be considered for a junior position

The Hong Kong Interbank Clearing Limited (HKICL) is a private company owned by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) and the Hong Kong Association of Banks (HKAB). The key objective of the company is to develop and operate a safe and efficient multi-currency and multi-dimensional financial infrastructure in Hong Kong. It operates an integrated financial infrastructure platform for:
- interbank large value funds transfers denominated in HKD, USD, Euro and RMB;
- interbank money settlement of equity and debt securities transactions in Hong Kong via linkage established with the Hong Kong Securities Clearing Company Limited and Central Moneymarkets Unit system (CMU);
- interbank small value funds transfer denominated in HKD and RMB, i.e. the HKD and RMB faster payment systems (FPS);
- interbank clearing and/or money settlement of retail payments in Hong Kong such as paper cheques, autodebits, autocredits, credit card payments, etc.; and
- the HKMA’s CMU system, as a computer operator.
