Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for tracking and ensure German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (GSCA) compliance status of the suppliers, business partners, and/or stakeholders in the supply chain.
• Support the implementation of company’s corporate responsibility policy and the related due diligence processes. Maintain related records.
• Support the execution of defined sustainability projects in cooperation with REW Asia offices, Germany HQ and business partners.
• Ensure the effective communication with internal and external stakeholders about REWE Group’s CR requirements and goals.
• Provide relevant training.
• Support the projects deployment, market studies, and research.

Job Requirements

• University degree in Social Responsibility, Sustainability and Compliance, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a social compliance role and geographically covers China and/or south-east Asia. Solid exposure in retailing industry is highly preferred.
• Solid experience in conducting training on compliance related topics is a must.
• Strong communication skills to all levels. Be a team player in a cross-cultural working environment is a must.
• Self-motivated, detailed minded, and with good problem-solving skills. Pro-active and independent working style is a must.
• Good knowledge on MS Office, especially MS Excel (including pivot tables).
• Knowledge on TOPO and / or other retail order processing system is an advantage.
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) is a must.
• Flexible to have business travel when required.
