Job Description:

1. Strategy

• Support the Team Head to advice to the Chairman, the CEO and the Board on matters related to strategy, M&A, investment, strategic partnership, incubation and government policies
• Conduct research and/or feasibility studies to identify business opportunities for the company
• Conduct competitor analysis
• Identify digital / IT opportunities that could create strategic advantages to the existing and/or new business 

• Identify strategic partners that could provide innovation, technology and synergy
• Prepare pitching materials and presentations & design the business / cooperation model

•  Identify opportunities inside or outside the company that could create innovations, technological edges and strategic benefits to the company
• Create a clear roadmap of the development and/or exit strategy of each new venture
• Incubate and closely monitor the new ventures and provide guidance to maximize the chance of success and long-term economic return

• Identify appropriate M&A and investment targets
• Prepare Quick-screen Report to quickly filter the opportunities and bring the suitable ones for a more detailed feasibility study
• Manage various professional parties to execute the transactions
• Lead various internal and external parties to conduct transaction structuring, due diligence, valuation and negotiation
• Prepare financial modelling

• Understand the current and new government policies in relation to the company’s existing and future business
• Formulate strategies on how to leverage on government policies to support the long term development of the company
• Understand various government fundings applicable to our business and assist to apply
• Conduct government lobbying directly or indirectly through relevant industry organizations

Requirements:

• 3-5+ years experience in-house strategy, M&A, investment and PE experience
• Tier 1 & 2 strategy houses / investment banking / start-up incubation / in-house experience
• Detailed-minded. Strong desktop research & financial modelling skills
• Strong numerical capabilities and problem-solving skills
• Degree from a leading institution
• Excellent in PowerPoint, Excel and writing capabilities
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
