Job Description
- Update and monitor the changes based on updated style level forecast to mill seasonally
- Arrange artwork, work with mills for print tech & maintain MSY schedule
- MS allocation and monitor MS delivery and quality verification
- Review MS & Bulk WIP with mill to ensure all fabric PO are in process and ensure on time delivery
- Update and monitor mill score card, KPI, MSY & Bulk yardage
- Support manager for new fabric sourcing and counter development & cost negotiation
- Work closely with mill to establish hand and appearance standards for fabric nominated program and bulk quality approval
- Identify and resolve development and production issues
- Initiate preventative measures as well as delivering accurate and timely quality control analysis
- Review and report any failure in inspection / testing reports and follow up the refinish process and/or replenishment quality with mill before shipment
- Provide training to newly on-board mill
- Other ad hoc tasks as assigned
- Higher diploma or above in Textile Technology (or other related disciplines) with at least 8 years' work experience in garment field, preferably in children wear for USA buying office
- Familiar with US / Canada market product and testing requirements
- Sound technical knowledge and skills on knit fabric construction, production process, QA procedures and inspection analysis and fabric order management
- Good networking with mills in China and offshores
- Proficient in MS office including excel, Pivot table, vlookup, pivot table, powerpoint and word
- Experience in using Flex PLM is an advantage
- Experience in ESG project / certificate (Oekotex, GOTS, GRS, BCI...) is an advantage
- Well-organized, systematic, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
