Senior Merchandiser

Our client is a well-known international fashion retailer, they are hiring a Senior Merchandiser responsible for the production management.

Responsibilities

• Follow up and manage Bulk production with on-time delivery from SMS stage until shipment
• Negotiate price and cost analysis with vendors
• Build effective and clear communication between internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain the report status including sample approval and on-time shipment
• Able to raise an immediate alert when problems arise, provide solutions as needed
• Work closely with the Technical and Quality Assurance team to ensure all standards are met
• Manage KPI and Vendor Action Plans to obtain Vendor Scorecard results above targets set by Strategic Sourcing

Requirements

• Degree holder in Textile and Clothing or related disciplines is preferred
• Minimum 6-8 years of merchandising experience in garment industry
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
• Strong verbal and written skills in English and Mandarin
• Ability to work independently as well as a good team player
