Senior Paralegal – Funds & Regulatory - Hong Kong

THE ROLE
Our Asia Funds and Regulatory practice is led by our Partner, Maggie Kwok, one of the top offshore lawyers in the region. Our Hong Kong team currently consists of 3 Partners and 6 lawyers with a steady and growing work flow. We advise on the full spectrum of funds and regulatory matters, including formation, structuring and maintenance of various types of open ended and close ended funds including hedge funds and private equity funds. The team works extensively with hedge fund and private equity managers, family offices, banks, fund administrators, custodians and investors.

We are looking for an organised and experienced funds and regulatory paralegal to join the team at Harneys Hong Kong on a permanent basis. The successful candidate must be a team player, with a law degree or equivalent qualifications, trilingual (Cantonese, English and Mandarin) with a minimum of 2 – 4 years solid funds / corporate paralegal experience. Experience working with PRC clients will also be advantageous. He/ she will provide a full range of legal administrative support to the team and will have the opportunity to assist with drafting and preparation of legal documents under supervision, proofreading, translations, conflict checks, legal research, due diligence, license applications, compliance works and corporate filings, etc.
