Job Responsibilities:

• Draft, prepare, review, proof-read and update legal agreements (including licenses, leasing, corporate and commercial transactions)
• Conduct legal research and analysis and provide legal support relating to Hong Kong laws and laws of other offshore jurisdictions
• Handle a wide range of trademark matters including trademark searches, prosecution work, oppositions and portfolio management
• Enhance policies and practices to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements in various jurisdictions
• Set up, manage and maintain a legal database
• Coordinate with external legal advisers, business associates and government authorities
• Assist in day-to-day administrative duties and ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned from time to time

Job Requirements

• Degree in Law from a university in Hong Kong or another common law jurisdiction
• 5 years relevant in-house experience in Hong Kong
• Ability to work independently, self-motivated and have a strong sense of responsibility
• Strong attention to detail, initiative, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt and ability to multi-task
• Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin is a must)
