Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for order planning process from forecasting to order placement to suppliers to support overall delivery excellence;
• Partner with external & internal stakeholders including suppliers, sourcing team and market operation teams to match demand & supply, identify and mitigate risks; 
• Drive launch decisions and work closely with product development team regarding supplier allocation, leadtime and MOQ issues;
• Identify production constraints, validate supplier capacity plan and work proactively to execute prebuild or explore reallocation possibility to minimize delays;
• Ensure efficient and accurate order launch to suppliers, and maintain system setting;
• Prepare regular reports (e.g. weekly and monthly launch summary, monthly report on order launch summary and surcharge estimation) and ad hoc reports for management review;
• Assist in ad hoc projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Degree in logistics, Supply Chain or Business related discipline;
• 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably gained in buying office or retail industry;
• Knowledge in production, supply chain and wholesales processes is a plus;
• Self-motivated, sensitive to figures; and attentive to details;
• Strong assignment ownership and able to work under pressure and tight schedule;
• A good team player with sound interpersonal skills while being able to work independently;
• A good team player with sound interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient with MS Excel (e.g. pivot table, VLOOKUP) is a must;
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
