Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic and results-driven business development executive with merchant/seller acquisition experience to drive Hong Kong-based, China-based, and international pet industry sellers to maximize their presence and business in the Barkmall marketplace. This role will hands-on be responsible to recruit and ensure the success of pet industry sellers and businesses, from seller identification & signing to onboarding & launching. We are looking for a highly driven and motivated team member to join our fun, professional and dedicated team at Barkmall here in Hong Kong.

Key job responsibilities

· Perform market research to identify new leads and engage with potential merchant partners to establish strategies for pursuing new opportunities via cold calls, walk ins, and in-person meeting.

· Nurture, grow, and acquire a new partnership with pet sellers (such as individual sellers, boutiques, local pet shops, pet groomers, pet SPAs and salons, local and international pet brands, distributors, pet charities, veterinary clinics, online pet e-commerce businesses, and general lifestyle stores) in Hong Kong, China and internationally to achieve business targets

· Build strong relationships with sellers, outside business contacts, and company stakeholders

· Prepare sales contracts and provide basic onboarding training to newly acquired merchants

· Carry out and complete ad hoc projects and tasks assigned by Management

· Show super-strong competency in delivering results, a bias for actions, dive deep, ownership, earn trust and customer obsessionWho is our Right Fit (Basic Qualifications)

· Bachelors’ degree in business or other related disciplines

· 1+ years working experience preferably with business development / e-commerce / marketplace platform experience or in an environment where you have to deal with multiple clients

· Strong presentation and interpersonal skills

· Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects - work prioritization, planning, and task delegation

· Excellent written and verbal command of and communication skills in English, Cantonese, and MandarinPreferred Qualifications (Advantages)

· Experience in the business development / e-commerce / marketplace platform or FMCG industry is an advantage

· Experience with salesforce is an advantage
