Responsibilities
- In-charge of the planting, transplanting, arboriculture work, control of pests and diseases, and any works related to trees, e.g., wood chipping, tree disposals, etc.
- Conduct Tree survey and risk assessment; monitor the health conditions of the protected trees including transplanted trees by regular tree inspections and necessary tree risk assessments in accordance with TRAM Guidelines;
- Provide on-site supervision of the required tree pruning works as specified and approved in the TPRP;
- Prepare pruning proposal with justifications, method statements, and supervision requirements of the pruning works for approval by the responsible relevant Government departments;
- Provide regular maintenance works for the retained and transplanted trees;
- Carry out tree supervision works in accordance with the ISO9001 quality management system, ISO14001 environmental management system and ISO45001 health & safety management system requirements of site.
Requirements
- Certificate in Environmental Management, Environmental Science, Applied Biology, Agriculture, Botany, Forestry, Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, Landscape Management, Landscape Science, Plant Science
- Minimum 2 years of practical experience in arboriculture/tree survey/ tree care / tree risk assessment/management
- Attended relevant training in arboriculture with cumulative training of at least 30 hours;
- Good command of both Cantonese and English.
