About the Position

The position will be responsible for:

• Coordinate daily operation of section;
• Reviewing of data and laboratory testing results;
• Providing supervision and management to junior technician;
• Conducting routine quality control, calibration checks and maintenance on instruments;
• Performing testing for environmental & food samples using GCMS, GCMSMS, LCMSMS;
• Assisting in method development and validation work will be required;
• Providing technical support to technicians;
• Maintaining good house-keeping of the laboratory.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Dedicating and Interest in developing career in professional laboratory environment;
• Computer skill with be essential;
• Knowledge of ISO 17025 and HOKLAS requirement;
• Proficient English & Chinese verbal and written communication skills;

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Chemistry, Environmental or other related discipline;
• Min 5 years of solid laboratory working experience;
• Knowledge and experience with laboratory equipment and good problem solving skill will be important.

Candidate with less working experience will be considered as Senior Technician. Fresh graduate will be considered as Technician.
