• Oversee laboratory operations (administration and management) and maintain workflow of research activities, provide support and training to researchers.
• Coordinate a range of activities in the laboratory.
• Facilitate necessary maintenance and installation of equipment. Maintain monitoring equipment inventory.
• Maintain supply chain of laboratory materials inventory and supplies for lab operations, including purchasing, logistics, receiving, booking and record, storage, and disposal. Manage shipment to/from other countries to facilitate research projects.
• Monitor and provide laboratory safety, environmental protection, operation, and/or other related training to all staff. Maintain training records.
• Ensure compliance with relevant rules and regulations.
• Liaise and coordinate with HKSTP for laboratory safety and laboratory requirement maintenance.
• Establish and maintain laboratory documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOP), records, certificates, test reports, etc.
• Manage shipment to/from other countries to facilitate research projects.
• Manage laboratory waste according to safety and environmental protection regulations and guidelines.

• Bachelor’s degree or above in life sciences or related disciplines is preferred
• With 3-4 years relevant working experiences, previous lab management experience is a must
• Well organized with strong sense of responsibility
• Independent, self-motivated, flexible with strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills.
• Proficient PC skills including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication in Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and English
• Suitable candidates with less experience may be considered as Laboratory Assistant Manager
