Job Description

Department of Architecture
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to teaching, research and all departmental activities with the proper use of equipment, materials and facilities (e.g. CNC machine, laser cutting, 3D printing machines, plotters and etc.)
- Oversee the operation, repair and maintenance of all facilities in the workshop, studio and exhibition area
- Handle purchasing, sourcing and tendering of supplies, materials, equipment and tools required for the workshops
- Assist in ad hoc projects and perform any other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
- A diploma or above in Engineering or related disciplines
- At least 2 years’ practical/relevant experience in the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of workshop machinery
- College or University working experience is preferred
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (fluent in Putonghua is preferred)
- Be highly-motivated, enthusiastic, responsible and able to work independently as well as working in a diverse team environment
