Your role within the team 

  • Manage the regulatory affairs activities in Pan Asia territories(including Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia & Vietnam) and responsible to provide directions to the business for any regulatory matters.
  • Lead a small team at Asia regions.

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Responsible for overall regulatory compliance of Swisse products and other H&H brands (Food, Health Supplement, Traditional Medicines, Skincare, OTC) in Pan Asia territories.
  • Develop and implement regulatory strategies that support business objectives and are in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and oversee regulatory needs for Asia region / lead strategies in relation to New Product Development (NPD) and Existing Product Development (EPD) projects.
  • Support global and local initiatives by providing regulatory inputs from product concept to post-approval life cycle management to ensure products meet regulatory and commercial requirements for Asia
  • Develop, execute and maintain submission plans, submission dossiers to ensure full compliance in Asia region. 
  • Work with Country Leads to set clear and detailed regulatory plans to ensure accurate and timely regulatory submissions.
  • Prioritize critical regulatory submissions in accordance with business objectives and / or post-marketing priorities.
  • Monitor project progress to anticipate regulatory obstacles and ensure timely, effective mitigation of regulatory challenges and issues.
  • Develop regulatory strategies with consultancy agency, distributors to expedite approval of pending registrations and ensure smooth operations.

Desired Skills and Experience 
To make sure we are setting new starters up for success, we ask that you meet a few criteria relevant to the role to be considered for this opportunity:

  • Bachelor Degree in medical, health, life science or related disciplines.
  • Minimum of 5 years of regulatory affairs experience with foods, health supplements, pharmaceutical or cosmetics.
  • In-depth knowledge of the regulatory requirements of the countries within the Asia region.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, well-organized and be able to work independently and be a team player.
  • Previous experience leading a team desirable.
  • Previous experience of interaction with trade association and ministry of health.
  • Good multitasking and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Good command in spoken and written English and Mandarin.
  • 4-month contract (Maternity Cover – From August 2022 – November 2022)
