Job Description
Zachys Asia, a major Hong Kong based international fine wine company and the world's leading name in fine wine retail and wine auctions, is actively seeking to hire a Logistics Specialist to our staff.
Key responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to:
- Handle full set of I/E shipping documents.
- Develop and maintain relationships with shipping vendors.
- Foresee and analyze logistics issues and present alternatives and solutions.
- Coordinate with Wine Specialists/Sales team for consignment pickup or return properties both locally or globally.
- Communicate and coordinate logistics issues with US/EU team.
- Arrange consol shipments globally.
- Responsible for all pre and post auction logistics.
- Collect Asia client payments in order to arrange their shipments depending on their instructions.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 2 to 5 years’ experience in logistics preferred. Good knowledge and operational skills for ground, sea and air handling.
- Must be detail-oriented with solid organizational skills and the ability to multi-task while handling high volume at a fast pace.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written are essential along with an emphasis on follow-up.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently.
- High level of computer competence and proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel & Outlook is required.
- Good command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
