Job Description

The core purpose of this role is to work with different service units to understand business issue and workflow to identify areas of improvement and suitable solutions; and serve as a bridge between users and the contractors to manage the sourcing, the implementation and management of application systems with consideration of IT security risks to meet business objectives and 3-year IT Strategy goals in alignment with the Agency Strategy to achieve effective organization and service delivery.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the implementation plan to achieve strategy goals of the IT strategy and in line with the HKRC corporate strategy in growing an effective organization and services delivery.
  • Assist the IT Manager to explore and identify IT solutions or technologies that can satisfy user needs, compliant with system and security standards, and facilitates real time informed choice of management decision making.
  • Provide service desks and IT infrastructure supports to provide a secure and stable IT environment
  • Assist the Manager to implement the IT infrastructure projects to ensure the smooth execution of the projects to achieve schedule, budget, user requirement and the security standard.
  • Assist Manager to work with contractors to deliver quality deliverables and services to ensure the outcomes according to the requirements of the contracts, meeting the expectations of the organization and user departments and professional standards and quality.
  • Comply the security guidelines to protect the organization from IT security threats, and the performance standards of service desk to support operation effectiveness across the organization.
  • Work with internal IT teams to provide robust, secure and stable IT solutions, platform and environment to address user and system requirements
  • Establish and maintain effective relationship with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and have timely recommendation 
  • Establish and maintain effective relationship with external partners to share knowledge and explore any collaboration opportunities.

 Requirements:

  • University degree in Information Technology, Computer Study, Computer Science or relevant disciplines
  • Minimum 3 years post-graduation and related working experience in business analysis and project management; in which at least 3-years of experience as a Business Analyst with expertise in business process analysis and business requirement elicitation 
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and contractor management to communicate different levels of stakeholders
  • Experience in multiple project management
  • Experience in technology domains of different administration and operation systems
  • Knowledge in digital technology is preferable
  • Flexible, open minded and problem solving
  • Standby for relief emergency supports at non-office hours
  • Familiar with Microsoft environment and application (Active Directory, MS 365, MS SCCM)
  • Solid experience in bulk PC hardware and software deployment
  • Solid experience in VMware, server, network, Cloud platform (Azure, AWS), server room maintenance and administration
  • Hands-on experience in supporting H3C, FortiNet, Rockus products is advantage
  • Strong knowledge in networking (VPN, VLAN, Wireless LAN, Firewall, Switch routing) and security practice
