Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Highlight proactively new fabric development to Design team.
- Work closely with Design team to develop product concepts and interpret the needs to our vendors.
- Initiate new fabric ideas, material sourcing and price negotiation.
- Manage fabric and FOB garment vendor relationship effectively.
- Monitor closely the whole fabric merchandising process and provide solutions when problem occurs.
- Expand sourcing network and evaluate regularly the performance of fabric mill.
Requirements:
- Diploma or above in Textile or Clothing
- 5-8 years of experience in fabric merchandising
- Possess good fashion and technical knowledge of fabric
- Good command of both written & spoken English & Chinese
- Sound PC knowledge including Excel and Word
- Proactive, a good team player
- Sound lab test knowledge
- Good communication skills and negotiation skills
