Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Report to Fabric Manager to support the knit fabric sourcing & development process with vendors/suppliers in Asia to translate the brand aesthetic into executable direction.
- Identify any potential risks on fabric performance & trouble shoot to resolve & recommend options.
- Maintain fabric library to support seasonal inspirations as well as archive historical & fundamental fabrications.
- Follow up sample fabric & color developments status and execution for the responsible region/suppliers.
- Ensure calendar milestones & calendar dates are met in terms of fabric related activities.
- Update the fabric data on PLM to enable analysis through reporting.
Key Requirements
- 5 – 8 years’ experience in woven fabric research, sourcing & development
- Good technical knowledge on yarns & constructions as well as in depth understanding on knit fabric production processes, dyestuffs, finishing, & fabric performance & testing etc.
- Strong communication & analytical skills with good management sense.
- Excellent personal skills & be able to work across multiple functions & in a multi-cultural environment.
- Fluent in written & spoken English, Cantonese & Mandarin.
