Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the overall Quality department function including Supplier Quality Management, Incoming Quality Control, SPC, In-Process Control, and Outgoing / Customer Quality Assurance;
• Identify, review and update changing international quality standards with related departments and ensure their full compliances;
• Ensure compliance for the implementation and maintenance of Quality Systems in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO14001 requirements, as well as of Social Responsibility Systems in accordance with ISO14001, OHSAS18001 and SA8000;
• Meet Customer Quality, product reliability & regulatory requirements thru effective Quality Planning and collaboration with Customer to establish acceptable and realistic Quality criteria as early as during NPI stage;
• Manage closure of Quality issues thru root cause analysis and implementation of effective containment and close-loop corrective & preventive actions;
• Develop, implement and manage system of KPI for management efficiency and drive continuous improvement activities using BSC, Six Sigma, Kaizen, FMEA, TCM & other similar strategies;
• Organize and chair regular quality meetings with relevant parties to monitor and to drive cross functional departments to ensure Corrective Actions & Continuous Improvement occurs per committed time line;
• Initiate joint Continuous Improvement Program with Customer to further improve Customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Electronic, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering will be an advantage;
• Min. 10 years working experience in Quality related field preferably in electronic manufacturing environment, with minimal 5 years in managerial position;
• Solid understanding and working knowledge of various ISO standards;
• Knowledge in Product Type Approval, such as UL, CE, CCC, etc. , and in environmental requirement of RoHS, REACH, California Preposition 65, etc.;
• Chartered 6 SIGMA Black Belt/Green Belt an added advantage;
• Must have excellent communication & interpersonal skills, and strong leadership;
• Fluent in spoken & written English & Chinese including Mandarin;
• Japanese speaking or experience in handling Japanese clients is an added advantage;
• Willing to stay in Dongguan PRC Plant 5 days per week;
