With a total reach of over 44.6M users across all platforms, The media group boasts a global readership across Asia Pacific, North America, Europe and more, with the flagship platform available in five languages. General role in the team:
  • As the Senior Internal Communications Executive, your key role is to help employees across the organization stay up to date about the company’s vision, goals, milestones and projects through a well-thought-out strategic plan.
  • You will be working across teams including Human Resources, Project and Content Teams to help build a strong culture and support the company mission and bring the story to life for employees globally.
  • Candidates should be a skilled storyteller to engage, connect and inspire the community of employees at Hypebeast.
Responsibilities:
  • Actively drive and improve the company’s culture across the company, to ensure employees are kept informed and motivated.
  • Together with the Communications Director, develop and execute a strategic internal communications plan to communicate the Group’s vision and business verticals through different available tools, such as intranet, newsletters and social media channels.
  • Cross functional collaboration with Human Resources, Marketing and Leadership to execute communication initiatives from concept to delivery.
  • Plan, curate and produce a variety of internal communications including presentations, announcements and messaging to be delivered across different channels.
  • Plan and execute internal townhalls around company’s mission, strategies and priorities, and support to drive top management engagement.
  • Support in drafting regular internal communications messages, and identify opportunity to tell stories that engage and inspire employees globally.
  • Maintain and update the central library of internal communication materials and the documentation management system.
Requirements:
  • Degree holder in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related disciplines.
  • 3+ years of solid experience in corporate communications, public affairs and/or copywriting.
  • Creative, innovative, outgoing personality is a plus.
  • Strategic thinking, good analytical and organizational skills, meticulous, multi-tasking.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Able to work effectively with internal and external parties at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and In-Design is highly beneficial.
  • A good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills, proactive and detail-minded with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Internal Communications Executive.
