Our client, a well-regarded asset management company, is seeking a Regional PR Manager / Senior Manager for their growing business in Asia region.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing and executing communications strategies to cope with the firm’s new business initiatives. Key activities include, but not limited to, brand management, campaign management, event management, etc
• Establish and maintain relationships with regional / local and trade media, while working alongside with local country teams
• Respond to day to day investment related queries from media in a timely and efficient manner
• Work closely with departments, such as product marketing, investment teams, country business heads, to generate topical and timely materials highlighting the firm’s investment expertise for use with media from across the region
• Provide suitable support for business heads, sales /investment teams and assist them on media exposures. 
• Organize media training when required, and ensure governance

Requirements

• University graduate with degree in Marketing, Journalism, or related discipline
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in communications function in financial services industry.
• Prior experience in asset / wealth management sector is a plus.  Candidates with exposures to fintech / alternative investment space is also well-regarded
• Excellent English writing skills and the ability to translate technical investment content to an interesting format for media
• Knowledge on social media platform is highly preferred
• Good relationships with media at local / regional level and trade
• Able to work in a fast-paced and culturally diverse environment
