Job Description

Your New Role

Assist in managing the daily operations of the English news team
Manage, assign and edit local stories to ensure factual accuracy
Provide guidance and advice to the English news team on the production of the final well-edited broadcast stories
Co-ordinate with other News desk editors during the production process

What makes you succeed

Degree holder in Journalism or related discipline
At least 4-5 years relevant Reporter / Editor working experience in news outlets
Familiar with local news and proven track record of good news judgement
Strong awareness of Hong Kong media law
Excellent command of spoken and written English with good grammar skills
Knowledge of Cantonese and proficiency in written Chinese is a must
