Job Description

Summary

Lidl Asia are hiring for a Business Process Manager who will work alongside the various business teams in controlling, monitoring, measuring, executing, designing, evaluating business processes. The successful candidate will ensure that the outcomes deliverable from a business process are in line with the strategic goal of the business.

What you'll do
  • Ensure process flows are mapped using standard methodology across various operations functions, including Merchandising, Quality, Logistics, etc. Ensure BPE’s are identified, trained, and are aware of their responsibilities and continue to build capabilities in process improvement and lean methodologies to leverage resource across the entire organisation.
  • Performing ongoing analyses on business processes related to productivity, quality, costs, and time management.
  • Analysing and monitoring implemented changes to business processes and making adjustments as needed.
  • Implement lean practices across the organisation both within internal teams and using BPE’s to identify organisational pain points, recommend and implement solutions, and build a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Build relationship with head office teams, both in process organisation and with business teams, to build awareness of process changes being requested by head office across our core process framework. 
  • Active collaboration is required with IT team to ensure that to-be and as-is process are defined as part of project initialisation in conjunction with project team.
  • Other process improvement and implementation projects as required.
What you'll need
  • At least a bachelor’s degree in any related area, such as business administration, engineering or any process-oriented field. Lean six sigma certification is preferred.
  • At least 5 years' experience in business process management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Preferably with experience working in a procurement, sourcing or trading operation hub preferably in a supermarket group, or in the Consumer products industry.
  • Fluent written and spoken English, especially to create presentations, meeting minutes, and to speak in conference calls to sell ideas effectively to internal and head office teams. German language skills are advantageous.
  • Independent, detail minded, and self-motivated with proven ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
  • Exceptional leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as, business process management and modelling software
