Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for daily Chinese, English, and Math tutoring and guidance for a 12-year-old boy and a 4-year-old boy
• All aspects of childcare relating to the children at Family Residence including manage Child's activities
• Assist parents in handling all school-related daily affairs, including mailing, parents meeting, application for further studies, etc. Need to act as a parent's interpreter when necessary.
• Working alongside the supporting team (other domestic helpers and drivers) of staff.
• Planing and accompany the children to out-of-home activities with the prior consent of the Employer, such as outing, play dates, playgroups etc.;
• Conversation with children in English every day
• Help children develop in all aspects, such as expanding hobbies, interview training skills, Physical and Psychological health, etc.
• Other Ad- hoc support duties are required

Skills and requirements:

• Bachelor/ master's degree in Education or relevant fields preferred
• 6 days work per week, requested to live at the employer’s house
• A Fluent in English and Mandarin (Native speaker preferred)
• Responsible, patient, loving, amenable, mature yet need to be firm on disciplining the children
• Candidates with teaching experience in International Primary & Secondary school will be prioritized
• Excellent command in both written and spoken English & Chinese
• Maintain close contact with school teachers, follow up the children's learning progress, timely feedback to parents and adjust teaching strategies, aiming to better help children improve academic performance and cultivate interest in learning.
