Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Build and optimize data sets, ‘big data’ data pipelines and architectures
- Building required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from various data sources
- Build processes that support data transformation, workload management, data structures, dependency and metadata
- Build analytical tools to utilize the data pipeline, providing actionable insight into key business performance metrics including operational efficiency and customer acquisition
- Work closely with the development team to develop backend services
- Work closely with the system team to deploy application to the production environment
Requirements:
- Over 10 years’ expert Software development experience on enterprise grade product
- Over 5 years’ solid ML experience on enterprise grade product
- Programming Languages - Scala or Python
- Experience on Data Modelling, Handling, Data API etc.
- Experience on SQL/non-SQL software development (such as Cassandra, PostgreSQL, HDFS, S3 or equivalent Object DB)
- Experience on software frameworks such as Akka Stream, Spark and Hadoop etc.
- Experience on distributed system development is a must
- Data analytics experience is a must
- Machine learning experience a plus
