Vice President - Trade Credit

 Job Responsibilities: 

• Manage the account independently from policy inception to renewal and ensure no E&O
• Follow up credit limit issues such as credit limit applications, credit limit appeals, third country risk approvals etc
• Meet with the clients on a regular basis to provide market updates update and policy training
• Handle clients’ enquiries on policies (policy cover on different trading models, sanction issues etc)
• Handle overdue reporting and claims, from payment recovery process up to claim settlement
• Execute, manage and drive the revenue growth strategies/initiatives that has been assigned.
• Present Marsh sales pitch to potential customers to generate new business opportunities for product line specialists.
• Provide timely updates and communication regarding working prospects with key stakeholder groups at Marsh.
• Business planning for the execution of agreed growth strategies taking into account of resources and other support teams required for the achievement of sales target.
• Understand clients’ risk exposure and deliver insurance solutions to expand current client portfolio with new products and Marsh services

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor degree holder or above.
• Insurance experience in the trade credit field with an understanding of the Client’s business issues, credit insurance programs and service plans
• Prior exposure to multinational programs preferable.
• From a trade credit broker, brokerage or trade credit underwriter background
• Preferably in a client-facing role working closely with underwriters, preparing presentations, negotiating terms with insurers.
• Act as a first point of contact within service team for day-to-day insurance queries and be proactive in servicing and anticipate any issues at an early stage.
