As we are expanding, we are looking for experienced loss adjusters to join our loss adjusting team. Opportunities are available from Senior Loss Adjuster to Associate Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate loss events promptly (on-site inspection/interviewing claimants and witnesses); establish relevant facts; evaluate causation and damage (including reinstatement/ rehabilitation where applicable); and advise on any policy coverage issues which may arise
• Prepare client reports in an accurate & timely manner
• Update the claims management system as required
• Set loss reserves and control claims costs
• Respond to queries from insurer clients, intermediaries, insured policyholders and third parties promptly and helpfully
• Focus on what matters to the customer and promote insurer clients’ insurance brands
• Promote Crawford’s ethics and values

Experience/Knowledge Required

• Experience resolving Casualty (Third Party Liability / EC) loss claims
• Good local network and relationship management skills would be a plus
• Demonstrated knowledge of general insurance and relevant legal knowledge, the key elements of a loss adjuster's terms of engagement, and the steps involved in the loss adjusting process
• Minimum 3 years’ practical loss adjusting experience.
• Depending on experience and qualifications, opportunities are available from Senior Loss Adjuster to Associate Director

Education/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree relating to engineering, accountancy, finance, or other relevant discipline.
