Multinational insurance company going looking for Cloud Strategy Engineer (FinOps) to support key IT transformation project.

Your new role

• Help to align budgeting and forecasting practices on Cloud spending across the organization
• Help to bridge the gap to reduce data inconsistencies and ensure efficient and effective use of information for financial reporting & analysis
• Help define standard patterns for metrics to drive business performance relative to strategic priorities while minimizing risk, optimizing costs, and driving operational efficiencies
• Assist with financial analysis and modeling for the purpose of reporting the operation, allowing management to make data-driven decisions
• Assist with Cloud costing for 10 BUs across Asia, including Cloud quotations and invoicing support
• Help the Cloud Strategy and Governance Lead bring new cloud initiatives to the Group that can support the business goals by leveraging cloud technology

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, computer science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience ideally focused on financial planning and strategy in a public cloud environment.
• 1+ year(s) working knowledge of at least one public cloud provider, Azure and/or AWS preferred.
• Previous experience in financial or operational planning and monitoring key financial metrics is a big plus.
