Overview: 

As a Supplier Quality Engineer - based in Hong Kong, you will be expected to demonstrate professional quality standards and procedurals when supporting the manager with functional support for the organization. You will be expected to drive and administer audit programs to ensure overall business deliverables are achieved. Your ability to apply/transfer knowledge, analyse, and demonstrate amicable communication skills will be critical in driving quality awareness across cross-functional teams.  The ideal SQE will possess relevant industrial experience, team-player, task-orientated  and strong willingness to learn and grow within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

•  To work closely with cross-functional team including but not limited to compliance, audit, and marketing on regulatory compliances, quality requirements, audit arrangements and any other preventive action programs
• To be responsible for  weekly monitoring and ensuring factory compliance procedure is adhered to, including but not limited to factory quality management, preparing quality reports, identifying problems areas and ensuring appropriate escalation route is carried out
• To have sound awareness and knowledge of customer compliance updates, audit related issues, and satisfaction issues
• To ensure the proper communication flow is carried out to the supporting teams to alow for appropriate activities to be carried out for all compliance and non-complianceissues, e.g. completion of CAP within a 5 days or less turnaround
• To be able to able to work with external vendors and/or customers on factoryexpectations  or programs as assigned by management
• To collate and prepare reports for either operational or management distribution, such as audit summary etc
• To be able to run analysis of the collected data and ensure appropriate escalation to either seniors, managements and or other supporting teams for the required action orrecovery strategy
• To assist in any ad-hoc activities or projects as assigned by QA Manager

  Requirements/ Qualifications: 

• Degree in Engineering or related discipline. Diploma with substantial years of related experience will be considered
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in audit and/or compliance related scope, preferably within the kitchenware or household industry
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with fluency in English, Mandarin and/or Cantonese. Written English and Chinese is a must
• Proficiency in MS office (words, excel and powerpoint) and respective operating systems
• Prior experience working across with cross-functional teams will be advantageous 
• Exhibit analytical mindset towards resolving issues and improving operational efficiencies
• Possess amicable prioritisation and organisational skills, meticulous, collaborative and willingness to grow and learn within the organization
• Willing to travel under a normal circumstance
