We are a young Hong Kong-based art gallery working with the most exciting international young artists. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the team and grow with the gallery. 

Responsibilities:

• Support Gallery Manager to manage day-to-day operations including general office administration
• Greet all visitors in a welcoming manner to ensure a good experience by providing accurate price lists and artist information, and guiding exhibition tours
• Support the planning, preparation, and maintenance of exhibitions
• Prepare promotional materials including posters, handouts, and videos for online and offline marketing purposes
• Manage the gallery’s social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, WeChat) to promote the exhibitions, artist news and gallery events
• Prepare Chinese and English writing and translation for exhibition materials
• Respond to inquiries and provide timely follow-up to clients
• Manage gallery database and membership systems

• Motivation, motivation, motivation: eager to learn art management and grow the gallery business
• Strong skills in graphic design and video editing
• Familiar with social media platforms e.g. Instagram, Facebook, WeChat
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities
• Creative problem solving with a flexible approach
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
• Degree or relevant qualifications in Art/Art History/ Art Management/Journalism is preferred
• 1-3 years’ work experience in art/ PR/ marketing is an advantage
• Candidate with more experience will be considered for a Manager position
• Immediate availability preferred
• Good command of written and spoken Cantonese & English & Mandarin

Working Hours:

Tuesday to Saturday, 11am – 7pm

We represent and work closely with a select group of artists exploring innovative processes that reflect the current social sphere, experimenting with and redefining the aesthetic narratives generated by their younger generation.
