Job Summary:

Report to the Senior Manager, Global Sourcing; the Strategic Sourcing / Procurement Manager will follow commodity sourcing guidelines defined to initiate and execute respective commodities negotiation of terms with suppliers. Recommend improvements with options by developing, consolidating and finding new suppliers according to global sourcing strategy.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Develop appropriate strategic sourcing plans to guide the team's sourcing activities
• Conduct negotiations with suppliers focusing on conditions and terms of purchase contracts. Clear Pure negotiation and VAVE targets (annual negotiation - at least)
• Support in supplier audits to ensure their operations are compliance
• Make market analysis on commodity basis and offer top management budgeting plans accordingly
• Industry benchmarking to guide the team's sourcing activities
• Generation of Standardization and VAVE ideas in consultation with SM based on market and commodity intelligence
• Supplier consolidation

Requirements:

• Major in Engineering preferred. Knowledge and experiences in commodities like lead wire, connector, wire harness, shaft, stamping & rubber parts will help.
• 5+ years of sourcing experience with at least 2 years of Supply Base Management experience
• Team management experience and skillful in supplier development and management; Good communication, coordination and coaching skills; good organization ability
• Familiar with ERP system and office software and proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• Fluent in verbal and written English, CET-8 above (KEY: GOOD COMMUNICATOR, both written and verbal)
• Able to lead, deliver and result oriented
• Familiar with Industries like Automotive, knowledge in Rapid Response, supply on or I supplier portal
• 4 to 5 days per week in Shenzhen
