Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and organize disaster preparedness and community resilience training and activities to enhance emergency planning and preparedness capacity of institutions
  • Establish and maintain partnership network with stakeholders and government departments and local partners
  • Support proposal writing, reporting, budgeting and administrative duties of training programmes
  • Coordinate with internal partners on trainer pool management, course enrolment and promotion functions
  • Supervise and lead staff and volunteers in the trainings and activities
Requirements:
  • Degree holder, preferably in Social Science disciplines
  • 2 years of related work experience is preferred
  • Knowledge in community resilience concept and disaster management are an advantage
  • Service-oriented with good interpersonal, networking and presentation skills
  • Mature and independent, well organized and attentive to details
  • Self-motivated and good team player
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
  • Proficient in PC knowledge

Contract Period: 1 year
