General Summary

Sales Manager of Strategic Accounts is responsible for leading a team of Strategic Account Development Managers in developing new accounts, focusing on major top-tier foreign retail banks, foreign investment banks, and foreign insurance companies in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities
  • He/She needs to plan strategically for a 3 years plan and execute accordingly.
  • He/She needs to process strong C-level relationships with FSI customers, bring in profitable opportunities, and manage a complex enterprise solution lifecycle from bid evaluation to tender submission to negotiation to delivery to AR collection.
  • Hunt for new customers and opportunities.
  • Be able to act as an individual contributor to manage opportunities lifecycle when the sales team capacity is in constraint.
  • Responsible for hiring the right candidates and developing the sales team according to plan.
  • He/She needs to help his/her sales team navigate both internally for management/presales/technical support and externally with vendors/suppliers and customers’ personnel to maximize success, effectiveness, and profitability.
  • Sell infrastructure/software/3rd platform solutions and services to new and prospective customers by leveraging major global vendors' technologies and Expert Systems' expertise.
  • Regularly plan, execute, review and revise FSI business plan
  • Ensure that individual account plans are well prepared and executed to meet assigned targets.
  • Work closing with pre-sales/services resources leaders and sales head to plan for necessary resources or investments required to support customers’ opportunities and requirements.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Proven track record as a successful sales team leader. 
  • Experience in hunter-type selling with rich experience in developing a new customer base. 
  • Proven track record as a top sales performer with seven figures annual revenue. 
  • Proven success in building relationships and business success in Banking, Finance, Insurance, and Securities sectors in Hong Kong. 
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate territory dynamics and develop a winning sales plan 
  • Ability to communicate technical and business concepts and relate them to Expert Systems’ solutions and customer needs 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
  • Fluency in Cantonese and English, both written and spoken 
Experience
  • Typically requires minimum 10 years of sales experience in information technology in infrastructure and/or software solutions with a minimum of 5 years focusing on Banking, Finance, Insurance, and Securities sectors. 
  • Minimum 3 years sales team leadership position. 
  • Experience working in a vendor or system integrator environment is preferred. Education 
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Computer, or other relevant disciplines.
