IBM is looking for an experienced Technical Professional to represent IBM Maximo/Tririga Application suite in a pre-sales role. As a Technical Specialist (aka: Solutions engineer) in the Industrial Market you will drive the execution of all technical activities required in support of meeting revenue targets and supporting customers business initiatives throughout the sales cycle. It will be your responsibility to understand the customer’s business and operational requirements and translate these requirements into the delivery of a compelling demonstration that will exceed expectations, and one that differentiates IBM from the competition. You will need to possess a solid understanding of the IBM Asset Management portfolio covering Maximo Manage, Maximo APM and Maximo Visual Inspection, Tririga Application Suite. This includes understanding of the technical architecture of Maximo Application Suite(MAS)/Tririga Application Suite (TAS) running on OpenShift, be able to demonstrate the value of MAS/TAS capabilities to our clients and develop a social selling eminence of your skills for our clients to consume. You will work directly with the Sales team to identify opportunities and lead technical sales strategies to meet customer’s requirements. You will articulate and demonstrate the value that IBM’s Asset Management to our customers. Provide technical sales support which may include: collaboration with IBM sales teams to define, design, and detail the technical aspects and feasibility of proposed solutions; lead and deliver Proof of Concepts; develop and deliver customized demonstrations; support critical situations; and answer technical questions. As a member of the sales team, you will be engaged in customer facing activities, be responsible for the technical accuracy of the proposed solution and lead the technical aspects of the sale through a growth mindset.

Required Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree or above
  • 2+ years of experience in the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) industry – Assets and / or Space Management
  • 2+ years of experience in delivering EAM Software Solution demonstrations
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) with associated qualifications
  • Understanding of EAM processes and product offerings
  • Understanding of one or more markets/industries where EAM is essential to its operational side of its business.
  • Comfortable with delivering 2-5 demos/week to clients.
  • Readiness to travel 10% travel annually
  • Experience with the following products (Maximo, Tririga) is a plus
  • IBM Redhat openshift and Kubernetes basic skills is a plus
