We are looking for a Veterinary Laboratory Assistant who is expected to:

Job Description

•          Receive and distribute laboratory samples throughout the laboratory.
•          Enter laboratory data.
•          Record, file and retrieve laboratory results.
•          Perform cleaning and sterilisation of laboratory and laboratory equipment.
•          Check and maintain equipment.
•          Provide clerical support to specimen receiving and administration matters.
•          Respond to telephone and email enquiries.
•          Handle and resolve enquiries from clients and suppliers.
•          Handle laboratory consumable order requests from clients.
•          Perform any other assignments.

 *Holiday and weekend rotations are required. 

**This position is eligible to overtime compensation.

Requirements

•          Degree/Higher Diploma holder. 
•          Proficiency in computer skills.
•          Good command of written and spoken English.
•          Ability to work independently and in a team.
•          Good time management, interpersonal and communication skills.
