Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Assess technical dossiers (Declaration of compliance, ingredient formulation, migration testing reports) for the evaluation of product compliance based on Main FCM regulations: European, Chinese, FDA, Mercosur, Japanese, South Korean, China etc.
- Ability to assess the impact, detection and risk in foods and beverages; Untargeted and targeted migration screening and testing methodology and related interpretation
- Knowledge of principles and methods of toxicology and ability to assess the impact or relevance of toxicology studies and research
- Define and verify testing plan across different laboratories to support validation of products.
- Monitor & interpret the worldwide FCM regulation
- Support the definition of service & offer according to major FCM regulations & customer specification.
- Supervise/provide technical training of FCM compliance and safety regulatory at customer site.
Knowledge and experience in/of:
- Define customer offers and work for new customer acquisition.
- Raw material, packaging, article and manufacturing process mastership including knowledge of materials (Plastic, paper, elastomers, stainless steel, etc…) and suppliers (Packaging, Articles, Food beverages systems, Raw materials)t:
- Knowledge in ISO/FSCC 22000, PAS 223, BRC IOP, ISO 9000, etc.. Standards
- Experience on sustainable packaging/ raw material is a strong plus.
- Exposure/Knowledge of/to additional regulations, such as; REACH
- Be part of TUVR Technical center expert committee
Education Requirements:
- Degree in in Sciences, strong preference for advanced degree (MS, PhD) in chemistry, chemical engineering, polymer science, or related field.
- Regulatory or legal background a plus
- Toxicologist study will be a plus
- ISO22000, PAS220, BrC IoP, or equivalent standard Auditor qualification will be a plus
Related Work Experience & Softskills:
- 7+ years of experience on Food Contact Material Safety in packaging industry, raw material industry, food industry, government, trade associations, consulting or TIC industry.
- GMP Auditor experience is a plus.
- Communication & conviction skills
- Ability and Flexibility to travel extensively
- Capability to work in a dynamic environment under pressure, with variable workload
- Ability to use Data modelling software
- Fluent in English and other language will be a plus
