Job Description

Accountabilities

  • Analyze historical sales trends and develop consensus forecast for Brands based on statistical forecast and sales drivers such as promotions and new product launches by closely communicating with sales & marketing team
  • Prepare and lead the Sales Driver Review and IBP meetings as part of the monthly IBP process, focus the team on key trends insights and gain full alignment with business team on sales building block and demand plan vs. financial latest estimate
  • Conduct New Product pre & post launch analysis with brands and regional demand planning team and recommend actions for future launches based on historical insights
  • WFA (Weighted Forecast Accuracy) and Bias correction - conduct root-cause analysis for WFA and regular review of Bias to recommend intervention plans with the appropriate teams to drive improvement in forecast accuracy continuously
  • Leverage SAP & BI reporting analytics to correct forecast bias and improve consistency of attainment
  • Maintain the Demand Planning Attributes & Master data such as Characteristics Value Combinations (CVCs), Product lifecycle (PLC), Demand Type (DT), History Start Date (HSD), Phase out profile (PIO)
  • Ensure supply triggered and shipment is on track as per planned forecast and avoid out of stock situation and follow up ad-hoc stock request with demand changes
  • Manage phase in phase out process and minimize residual
  • Conducting analysis and reports on inventory planning and sales results
  • Support Brand and Finance team in the yearly budget preparation process
  • Prepare centralized reports for department
  • Perform ad-hoc SC projects assigned

 Qualifications

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics & Supply Chain, Marketing or above
  • 3 years in demand planning function in similar industry
  • Data sensitive and strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Chinese
  • Ability to build strong relationships across functions and levels
  • Basic knowledge of sales strategy and brand positioning 
  • Consumer packaged goods industry experience is a plus
  • Advanced computer skills in Excel (pivot tables, vlookups etc.)
  • Proficiency in SAP is a plus
