Job Responsibilities:-

Reporting to the Deputy Executive Director (Operations I), you will be responsible for the overall management of four functional divisions including the Permit Office, Duty Manager Division, Efficiency Unit and Information Technology Division.  You will be expected to effectively:

(a) Lead and drive these teams towards operational excellence whilst observing efficient resource management and quality control;

(b) Clearly identify evolving requirements optimizing the use of information technology whilst eliminating security vulnerabilities through strategic solutions;

(c) Assist DED OPS I in ensuring the highest standards of aviation security are maintained at all times and that Operations I activities towards both internal and external clients are performed in accordance with the required security and safety standards contained in relevant aviation security programmes, security directives and service agreements; and

(d) Drive new projects exploring efficiency gains for teams and process throughout the Company.

Job Requirements:-

You must possess the business and strategic acumen to provide valuable input to the senior executive team whilst being in a position to make critical operational as well as business decisions.  Other pre-requisites include:

(a) Degree holder or above;

(b) 15 years solid experience in operational management with 8 years in a senior managerial position;

(Candidates not meeting the above criteria but with a proven background which highlight outstanding achievements in other fields may also be considered);

(c) Preferably with aviation security knowledge and experience;

(d) Strong problem solving skills, and ability to work proactively, innovatively whilst driving for continuous improvement;

(e) Advanced analytical and staffing ability; and

(f) Strong ethical background with recognizable leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
