Job Title : Membership Services Officer – Food and Beverage  

Responsible To : Clubhouse Manager

Place of Work : Deep Water Bay Club House

Job Nature : Shift Duties

Scope and general purpose of the Job :

To provide services to members and their guests at the Clubhouse. Assist with Club daily operations, opening and closing procedures. Maintain the Clubhouse and deliver services to ensure enjoyment of Club facilities and safety of members and their guests. Facilities and equipment are properly maintained and kept up to the required standards.  

Main Duties :

  •  To provide courteous and professional services to members & their guests at all times.
  •  To coordinate event and functions.
  •  To arrange event venue set up, equipment, food and beverage for courses.
  •  To maintain Clubhouse, its cleanliness and tidiness at all times as per standards set by the General Manager. To ensure that members sign-in on arrival and they sign-in their guests.
  • Be on duty at Club House during operational hours, delivery of food & beverage services as required.
  • To answer all telephone enquiries. Record & report all membership inquiries to manager, observing appropriate Club etiquette at all times.
  • Together with clubhouse management, ensure protection of Club properties and report any trespassers/ security issues to the Clubhouse Manager.
  • To process and manage the Clubhouse POS efficiently and effectively.
  • To assist in the cleaning and maintaining all stores clean and tidy.
  • To provide assistance to members in the set up of BBQ grill, Club events, classes or parties particularly during peak hours (weekends and public holidays).
  • To process, receive and record members’ payments only through electronic systems (i.e. via Octopus or EPS) installed by the Club in respect of facilities usage, guest fees, equipment such as camping tents, sports equipment on loan, food & beverage consumption and ancillary services.
  • To conduct weekly stock take and control. Report weekly stock to maintain careful & diligent security control of items in & around the Pro-shop and Club House.
  • To ensure that all facilities & equipment are properly maintained & kept up to the required standards of the Club.
  • To handle lost and found in accordance with the Lost & Found Policies.
  • Together with the management, take precautions and procedures to minimize and protect Club properties from damages caused by daily wear & tear, rainstorms and typhoons according to the Rainstorm and Typhoon Policies.
General:
  • To report for duty punctually wearing the Club uniform at all times.
  • To maintain a high standard of personal appearance & hygiene at all times.
  • To maintain good working relationships with colleagues & related third parties.
  • To have a complete understanding of & adhere to the Club’s policies relating to fire,            hygiene, health and safety.
  • To respond to any changes in the Club functions as dictated by the industry or Club policies.

Other Duties

  • To undertake any other reasonable duties and in any work location as assigned by the Club management. 

Requirements

  • F.6 or above, Fresh graduates are welcomed
  • Outgoing, proactive, self-motivated and good communication skills;
  • Knowledge in club and F&B operation is an advantage
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese

Working Hours:
9am-6pm or 12pm-9pm, including 1 hour meal break

Working Locations: 
Deep Water Bay

Staff benefit: 
Staff meal, shuttle car, medical coverage and 12 days annual leave
