Applications are now invited to fill the following vacancy in the Customer Operations Department of our Customer Success & Experience (CSE) Business Group.  The appointee will have the following key responsibilities:

Major Duties:

• Develop, review and implement policies and procedures on data governance and risk management;
• Conduct risk assessment, compliance check, data incident investigation, gap analysis to manage critical/high risk items, recommend control measures and perform assurance;
• Conduct review of data integrity and operation processes in data handling in the ERP system (i.e. SAP), and identify improvement areas;
• Provide advice on data protection, privacy and risk for internal business users;
• Assist internal users to embed governance, risk and control framework throughout the business;
• Plan, organise and implement initiatives to increase awareness and promote culture of customer data protection and risk management within the business group;
• Supervise a team to execute data management activities, e.g. data cleansing, customer data requests, etc.;
• Monitor the latest development of data compliance and protection requirement and research on emerging technology solutions that reduce risks and enhance data protection;
• Perform other duties as instructed by the supervisors.

Requirements:

• A recognized University Degree, preferably in Risk Management, Social Sciences, Business, Information Systems or related disciplines;
• Minimum 7 years’ relevant experience in data governance, compliance, auditing, control, risk management or other related job duties. Experience in internal consultancy function or controls function is an advantage;
• Good knowledge of data protection regulations, especially Hong Kong’s PDPO, European’s GDPR and China’s Personal Data Protection Law would be highly regarded;
• Good knowledge of data handling in ERP system (i.e. SAP) would be highly regarded;
• Able to distill complexity and to identify and clearly communicate practical, risk-based solutions;
• Great organizational, prioritization and analytical skills;
• Independent and detailed originated personnel with strong communication skills;
• Candidates with less experience may be considered for a junior role.
