Job Description

Act as the champion to promote GS1 Hong Kong’s products, solutions and services by executing the portfolio’s market analysis, development, strategy, integration, propositions and training coupled with compelling, integrated Go-To-Market programs so as to drive and generate strong marketing pipelines that enable the organization to achieve its business objectives in brand awareness and revenue growth. 

This position will initially lead and execute marketing plans and programs to drive industry adoption of GS1 standards and solutions for industries including healthcare, ICT, construction and other IoT focused segments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement marketing plans, programs and initiatives to achieve corporate objectives within focused industries including healthcare, ICT, construction, and other IoT focused segments.
  • Able to analyze precisely the key potential markets and formulate the most effective messaging strategies to the respective targeted segments.
  • Drive the development of marketing collaterals, presentations, digital content for related industries and solutions
  • Liaise and work with various teams to formulate and execute Go-To-Market campaigns, events and promotion activities including online and offline media.
  • Identify, liaise and partner with potential industry associations to create synergy, exposure and referrals, etc. Plan, organize and formulate marketing plans for industry related programs and events with associations
  • Market and manage GS1 HK Academy activities, including seminars, webinars, training courses and GS1 HK Smart Business Innovation Centre tours
  • Explore funding opportunities for targeted industries
  • Analyze and control expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Marketing, Communications, IT, or business related field
  • 3-5+ years of B2B solution marketing - experience, preferably in Supply Chain or Telecommunications industry
  • Good knowledge in IoT, cloud, and mobile technologies is ideal
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver a strong message via multiple channels (video, slides, and long-form writing)
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, creative, cope with pressure and able to work independently
  • Self-motivated with strong sense of accountability
  • Excellent command of Chinese and English (both spoken and written)
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Officer.
