Job Description
The role:
- Supervise a merchandising team to manage critical paths of fabric & materials sourcing, product development, product cost negotiation, order placement sample approval, lab test, bulk production, following through of delivery, and assist in the development of new product line.
- Diploma holder in merchandising, fashion, textile, or related disciplines
- 10 years' relevant experience in garment manufacturing, trading, or buying office with 1-2 years of supervisory experience
- Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, well organized, and able to lead the team to meet the deadline
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
- With both woven and knit exp., and understanding lab test standards is a plus
